Hello and welcome to Tony & Toni Recipes.  As you can probably figure out by now we are married and write this blog.  Well actually I, Toni write the blog and Tony, my husband, is my part time photographer who gets paid in food.  He is also the official food tester in the Moschello Test Kitchen which is located at the beach in New Jersey.  I tell you that we live at the beach because that is where it all began...July of 2010 Tony and I were sitting on the beach having an amazing lunch, a pasta dish I made the night before to be exact, and we were talking about how delicious it was.  Tony turned to me and said you should write about your cooking.  You love to cook and you should tell the world about it.  So I pondered this over the last few bites of my pasta and decided why not...

After a few weeks of putting together the blog and understanding how this blogging world works I managed to write some of my recipes down and Tony urged me to post them.  Being the perfectionist that I am I hemmed and hawed over it till he said just post it who cares, where yet again we were sitting on the beach enjoying some lunch.  As with everything, I trust him implicitly and I posted my first post...Mozzarella & Tomato, one of our favorite foods to eat!  I got some great feedback and have been blogging ever since.  

From the simple Mozzarella & Tomato post I have changed and evolved my blogging style.   I truly enjoy writing about what interests me the most...food, cooking and recipes.  I have also self published my first cookbook Forkful of Simplicity all because of a very intimate conversation on the beach enjoying some pasta with the love of my life.
